The Queensland Litter Prevention Alliance (QLPA) was established to develop and coordinate strategically planned litter prevention, education and management activities.

Conscious of the need to deploy best practice litter management techniques that deliver optimal environmental outcomes at reduced costs, government and non-government stakeholders have driven the development of the QLPA.

The geographical area of the QLPA covers the entire state of Queensland, Australia.
